From my perspective, not having to pay shipping (let alone for each game separately) is of course worth quite a lot. Plus, being able to look at each game before buying is almost priceless. Although, looking at the picture, I think after seeing five of their games you knew you wouldn't have to worry about their condition.

Do they, by any chance, have any games left? :)

The family I spoke with was just happy to see them go to someone who appreciated the games. They had internet (and a very large, expensive home!) but they did not feel like putting them on ebay. Needless to say, they do not have any more games left ;)

Kinda sucks I really enjoyed this site. I havent posted since 2006 but recently dusted off my old games and found them to be working better on the newer version of dos box and windows 7 compatibility mode. hopefully everyone is playing the silver lining! i just found it and dl'd the first episode.

I guess I picked a bad time to join... ha. Seems like there are no vintage PC forums around and I thought this one seemed the "best" even though it looks like new posts are non-existent.

Video Game collecting on consoles is BOOMING right now. I started 3 years ago and have watched prices go up and up. Ridiculous. However, it seems that PC collecting has disappeared or never really took off. I guess Nintendo appeals more to collectors while Sierra doesn't have nearly as many followers. Quite a shame too...

I agree. I think most people like myself have tons of great (old) games stuffed away and find them when the move or do spring cleaning. Old sierra games are the best ever made.

If it makes anyone feel any better, I've finally joined after lurking and drooling over the collection for ages :) Though it seems that I've missed the "golden age" of collecting this software... a few years back, $100 was expensive for SoftPorn... now, $400 is cheap!

If I could even find someone to sell me Softporn for $400 I'd be happy. That's one of my elusive titles along with Mystery House.

SO if you know anyone.... :P

Dead dead dead. I just wanted to hear myself say that. I can't believe people are so indifferent to the classics. Maybe they're all on a GOG forum or something. I sound so handsome!!
