The red stripe was for Apple, light blue for PC, dark blue for Atari ST and I think a purple one for Amiga?

Same thing with the big square that said VGA/EGA on blue for PC, MACINTOSH on orange for the mac, and AMIGA on purple for the Amiga. (I don't think any icon-based stuff was released for the ST)

There's a thread on here discussing the various shrinkwrap methods and I think a couple people came to the conclusion that they were either re-wrapped at a store, or the factory simply changed their wrapping method at some point.

Anyone ever come across one of the fat boxes with the folded-corner style wrapping? All of mine are just regular shrinkwrap with the joint line along the top and bottom.
