Hi i'm trying to find out what is the complete contents of and original 1989 box - and i mean down to the samllest detail like any additional Sierra incerts and Advertisement with the year printed on back of them.

Did anyone recently or has ever acuired a sealed box and has it opened.
Could you list all the stuff in there to your best description and by count.

Well obviously there is all the main stuff listed on the Iceman page...
And I am sure there are various standard offers. Like a registration card, offer for a musc/sound card, probably a letter from Ken Williams that kind of stuff.

Just got my Codename: Iceman in the mail today (after being "lost" for about a month!!). I never played the game or looked at the box much at all, since PQ didn't interest me I never bothered to pick up C:I.
Anyway, I started to read the box and it's kind of ironically funny. Look:
"Oil Shortages, international politics and radical terrorists form the backdrop for a powerful story of world crisis, superpower conflict, and high tech escapades"
Not trying to get political here, but OMG!! Did Jim Walls predict the future in his game TEN YEARS ago?!? (copyright 1989/90 and the game takes place in 2000 I think) Kinda eerie if you ask me...
On a side note, the Sierra/Dynamix Demo Disk INT# is 9.11.91, Leisure Suit Larry V is 9.11.91, and Gobliiins is 9.11.92... OMG!

That's pretty much been the political climate for the past 30 years. I was disappointed by Iceman. I loved the original Police Quest and Police Quest II was good. I'm trying to play through III but I'm not liking it so far and I hate the VGA remake of the first one. Open Season was decent though. Anyways... the problem I have with Iceman is that there is very little adventuring and a whole lot of sub simulation. Which may have been okay if the actual adventuring portions weren't shortened because of it. Take out the whole sub simulation and you have about a half hour long game.
