I played this one a few months ago, and...
I was attracted to the premise of developing cars through the century, so it looked good. I don't really like it though.
Basically the body type you pick mades little difference, as long as the price is good, and late in the game you basically have to set advertising values in 50 places, that is, if you want good sales.
Then there's the money issue. Once you have a car that actually sells, there's not much you can do with that money. You can add new technology to your cars, but that won't make them sell better - they'll just be more expensive. When I was playing I developed technology for two reasons: To see what was next, and because I had nothing else to do. The actual improving the cars bit..well...it's like the 1930s before you have an engine which gets you over 22mph, and, as mentioned previously, a 22mph car won't sell any worse than a 70mph one.
I had high expectations, and the game had made good attempts...but this just felt slow and empty to me. I don't know, I like Jones, but this one just didn't resonate with me.
I think Mafia spoiled me or something
